Massage Therapy

Specific and kinetic-focused therapy that utilizes orthopaedic and manual testing to identify inefficiencies of the body, combined with various soft tissue skills and modalities such as electro-acupuncture to help loosen up body parts or help stimulate structures that are indicated. This is followed up with individualized rehab exercises to help maintain the results.


Performance Training

Individuals will have to go through a mandatory movement analysis to identify individual needs and develop a baseline for each individual to allow for objective measure. Goals and training frequency will be discussed.

Outcome: The results from this assessment form the foundation of your personalized online coaching plan.

Customized Online Coaching
Tailored Programming: Based on your initial assessment, we create a personalized training plan that adapts as you progress.

Deanna-Kaye Barrett is a University of Western Ontario graduate with a degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences. She is strongly interested in sports performance assessments and aims to help athletes achieve their physical and career goals through physical fitness. During her 4th year at university, Deanna-Kaye completed her practicum experience with the Western Mustangs Women’s Basketball and Rugby teams as one of their Strength and Conditioning coaches and is presently working with various high schools as a sports medic. Deanna-Kaye also has been teaching swimming for the past 7 years, helping individuals improve their skills for both recreational and competitive swimming. She is persuing of her Registered Kinesiologist license with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario and plans to take her Strength and Conditioning Coach certification in the future. Shon is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an RMT that focuses on facilitating efficient movement strategies - specifically change of direction ability. He goes through detailed questioning and utilizes evidence-informed movement analysis to help identify strength and weaknesses in athletes.

He believes that in the pursuit of effective movement strategies, an athlete will be able to better control and mitigate injuries; and in doing so, enhance performance.

He has and is currently working with athletes of all disciplines such as, basketball players, NHL/OHL players, CFL players, and MMA athletes. He believes that people who are injured has created a bodily system through habit, that cannot match his/her sport demands.

He has spent the past decade diligently learning about the science of movement and is continuing to pursue his goal of understanding injury prevention strategies.

Apart from pursuing his Masters in Sport Science and Rehabilitation, he also shares his insights in his workshops and seminars held internationally for Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Medical Doctors, and Personal Trainers.

Michael Leung received his Masters of Physical Therapy from Western University. Prior to his Physiotherapy degree, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology receiving Dean’s Honours, and Bachelor of Science in Science with a Biology minor at the University of Waterloo.

Michael has had the opportunity to work with high-level athletes during his physiotherapy degree and has grown an interest in working with athletes of all ages and preoperative and postoperative surgical candidates. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and he is a Champion Performance Specialist (CP-S). Michael also completed additional concussion management education, and he is currently pursuing his levels in the AIM (Advanced Integration of Musculoskeletal) physiotherapy program.

Michael believes in meeting his patients at their level, and working as a team to create effective treatment plans to return to sport, work, or any other activities they love.
